Fender Precision Bass Guitar Custom Build'51 P-Bass Nitro Relic
Fender Precision Bass Guitar - Custom Build'51 P-Bass Nitro Relic Custom Built 1951 P-Bass created using Fender OEM and quality aftermarket parts. The body is a custom made (in the UK) 3 - Piece Swamp Ash finished in a Relic Butterscotch Blonde Nitro, the neck is a Fender OEM'51 P- Bass Maple Neck (original serial number MX19156316 - which dates it to 2020) with its original poly finish removed and renished in an aged amber tint Nitro (see pics). The body, sides, neck, back and headstock have been given the relic treatment - with lacquer crazing, dints and dings, patches of wear to the finish, and then polished to a vintage dull gloss shine - the plastics and metal parts have also been given the ageing treatment (see pics). Metal parts are Aged vintage style metal parts mounted with 50's style slot head screws with Fender Pure Vintage Bass tuning machines (with vintage reverse-action design), pickguard is Aged Repro 1-ply 7-hole "Blackguard" P- Bass Pickguard - all given the ageing treatment (see pics).
Not to mention the authentic 50s style single screw wooden thumbrest! Pickups are Retrovibe Route'51 Single Coil Precision Bass Alnico 5 wired with vintage style cloth wiring with 250k CTS pots and 0.015uf K40Y-9 PIO Capacitor.
