Activating the limiter in bass amps provides a form of compression which not only adds to the sustain, but provides a punchy attack and a very pleasing tone. With some bass amps equipped with gain control, high gain settings can be used to produce distortion in the tone. A dedicated battery compartment eliminates the need to open the controls cavity with tools for changing the battery.

The slim and easy to play maple neck is not painted so that years of playing will not wear-out the paint and your instrument will retain its attractive looks even after becoming road-worn. KAM Mini Bass is strung with Nylgut strings which provide a very pleasant feel, superb playability, and amazing tone. A 9 volt battery is used for the preamp. Unplugging the output cable when the instrument is not played, turns the pre-amp off to conserve the battery.
