A 1953 Fender Precision bass guitar, restored using original parts by world-renowned Clive Brown, the asymmetric ash body with two'horns' mounted with a twenty-fret maple neck stamped'D' on the butt visible only when detached from the main body, which is stamped beneath the domed chrome control knobs with'C B BROWN 2014'. The first precision bass guitar was introduced by Leo Fender and George Fullerton in 1951 as a counter part to the successful Telecaster, 1953 was the final year that the original Telecaster style slab body was produced before a change in design in 1954.
