1984 Hondo Deluxe Series 830 P Type Bass. Made at the Samick factory in Korea. Full width P Bass body - solid Ash. Only the natural & walnut versions were ash, the other colours were maple laminate.

Eagle beak colour matched headstock (82-84). Steel bridge with brass saddles (84 only).

Tortoiseshell pickguard & black tug bar finger rest. All original apart from replacement vol/tone knobs. Truss rod at heel works as it should. Obviously has some battle scars for a 38 year old instrument - see pics. It is however in very good condition for its age. Plays superbly, sounds as good as any Fender P Bass (check out the guy on YouTube playing the same version).
