This is a hand built bass made by luthier Rik Simpson of Chardri guitars. This was designed as a show piece so there is no other like it. Over 100 man hours went into making it. Body construction: (from top to back) Ziricote and maple top, Smoked oak veneer, Ash body, walnut veneer and a flamed maple back.

The control cavity has a ziricote plate with a hand inlayed lion logo. Neck construction: 5 piece neck maple & smoked oak veneers Fretboard is ziricote with steel and abalone fret marker inlay dots. Headstock: maple with a maple and Ziricote cap. Nut is bone/brass Frets are high grade nickel fret wire.

The neck has 2 dual truss rods and carbon fibre strengthening rods. EMG electronics The guitar is RAW so there's no finish applied.

The bass is VERY heavy. Comes with a Thomann gig bag! I've used it as my main bass now for a number of years and it's incredible.
