Made in the USA, this bass features a Thru-Neck construction consisting of a Mahogany body and Mahogany Thru-Body with Unbound Ebony fingerboard. Gold hardware is fitted to this instrument including a Wilkinson 5-Saddle adjustable bridge, Knurled Gold control knobs and Closed-Gear tuning machines. The Mahogany neck plays extremely;y well with its Slim'D' shaped profile which fills the hand nicely without being at all cumbersome.
The Satin finish to the rear assists with easy fluidity of the 34 scale. The Fretless nature of the bass further enhances the effortless playing experience, the Ebony fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, offering a smooth and durable playing surface across the register, along with the discreet side inlays allows the player quick fret navigation without taking away from the overall clean look of the instrument. The 16 radius is highly practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques offering the player a varied and enjoyable play experience. The Neck-Thru construction provides sustain to the sound which makes the instrument suitable for a wide range of genres whilst retaining a unique and unmistakable voice.
The amplified tone of the Carvin LB75 covers all of the sonic bases you would need as a working musician thanks to the comprehensive yet straightforward controls. The active controls deliver more control that can be manipulated through the comprehensive 2 band EQ which means you can boost or cut the Treble and Bass offering infinite tonal possibilities. Headstock: Overall very good condition, all aspects of the headstock demonstrate small indentations most notably the top edge demonstrates several light indentations which do not chip or pierce the finish. Neck: Overall very good condition, The fingerboard demonstrates roundwound scratching throughout the register. The rear of the neck demonstrates regular light indentations.
Body: Overall good condition, All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching/indentation. The front face demonstrates buffing of the satin finish, discoloration and indentation beside the pickups on both sides. The rear demonstrates some buckle rash, particularly where the neck contour begins. The edges of the instrument demonstrate light indentation consistently throughout the perimeter, most notably to the bottom edges.
Battery compartment casing has snapped at the top corner however it is still functional. The truss rod nut is missing a portion, but functions correctly. Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear. The tuners have been replaced. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2.5mm - Bass 3mm. Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. Strings on Guitar - 45-100. There is some buzzing in the very upper register, most apparent to the bass strings. This affects sustain to the B & E strings.
