Chowny CHB-1 Long Scale Tobacco Sunburst Semi Hollow Body Bass Guitar. Here for sale we have a Chowny CHB-1 long scale semi hollow body electric bass guitar in Tobacco Sunburst finish. This bass features a semi hollow Maple body with a Flamed Maple top, a Maple neck, a 22 fret Ebony fingerboard, a 34 scale length, along with a pair of Artec vintage style humbuckers, wired to dual volume/tones and a 3-way toggle switch. The gloss finish neck plays well, with a fairly chunky'C' profile that fills the hand nicely without feeling overly huge.

Dual cutaways give excellent access to the upper register and the semi hollow body style feels responsive, giving a very lively feel when amplified, with the centre block keeping unwanted feedback at bay. The Artec vintage style humbuckers in conjunction with the flatwound strings deliver a warm, mellow tone, while the reasonably comprehensive controls allow you to dial in a whole range of sounds, great for rock, blues, soul, jazz and beyond.

Headstock: Light markings are visible, there is some residue to the top of the headstock which is difficult to remove but not significant. Neck: Light markings are visible and some scuff marking centrally, this is not significant or detracting greatly from playability. Body: Light scratch markings are visible, mainly to the rear of the instrument and darker areas, there are some light finish indents to the sides near the controls which is not significant. A previous owner seems to have written the initials B.

H inside the lower'f' hole, this is fairly minor, only really visible when actively looking for it. Shape and condition is very good. Truss Rod Condition: Fully Functional & can be adjusted.

Bridge Condition: Fully Functional & can be adjusted to preference. Height of the string from the 12th Fret- Treble 2.5mm - Bass 2.5mm. Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.

Strings on Guitar - Flatwound. The guitar has some minor aesthetic imperfections but these are not significant in isolation. Playability can be adjusted to preference with all hardware being adjustable and functional. The guitar comes with a hard case which shows some light aesthetic wear in places, with the case offering protection and a good storage option.
