This short scale (30) bass guitar has been re-strung by me to fifths tuning like a cello: C2 G2 D3 A3 with a range from C2 to G5. The sound this produces is gorgeous. The original bass stringset (EADG) has been left in the accessories compartment of the hard case. So, if you want to return the bass to standard bass guitar tuning, you just need to put the original stringset back on. The Music Store hard case fits this guitar perfectly as if it was tailored. The bass is passive and the pup is a humbucker. These Cort Action basses are well balanced on the strap and are extremely comfortable to play when sitting. They are fantastic value basses.
