Custom neck-thru electric bass vintage Japan / READ

  

Vintage neck-thru electric bass The body appears to be made at one of the Japanese plants in the late 1970s or the early 1980s. The previous owner had stripped the instrument. And fitted brand new hardware. The nut has been replaced at some point as well.

The electric parts are genuine. The pots seem to work alright, however the jack socket is a bit crackly and would benefit from. The neck pickups plastic covers are missing (the screws are included, though). The string tree isn't fitted but will be included as well. The instrument plays as it should in general. It as a nearly finished project, though, as some minor setup or/and refitting procedures might be necessary. Numerous scratches and dinks can be found on the body/neck but it's definitely still "in one piece". Restrung recently with a cheap set of strings.
