Fantastic bass, plays like a dream. And a lovely traditional finish / look! Not seen too many of these what with the NG series being so popular these days.

Never gigged, only used in a smoke free studio. This is a 4 string version but the long scale length (36.5-34) handles low tunings very well.

Currently set up in Drop C. All 5 pots are immaculate, no noise or scratchiness. The selector switch that engages the active EQ is a bit scratchy when switching, but it does work fine. I have checked with Dingwall support which switch this was and ordered a new one - which I've included if you want to swap it out. Recently had a new set of D'addario strings installed. One thing to note - Sod's law the strings I ordered weren't long enough (and I've thrown out the old ones.), so the winds on the low string thin out before it reaches the nut. Hence it is currently propped up with a clipping off the end of the string (see pic). This is purely because the'long' strings I ordered still weren't long enough, it's not a defect of the nut / guitar (there were no issues with the last set of strings).

It plays absolutely fine still how it is currently with the new strings anyway. I have also just installed 2 new 9v batteries for the active circuit. The only other thing probably worth mentioning is there is a tiny bit of cosmetic fret wear (see pic). I'm not sure if this is a result of the strings not rubbing perfectly perpendicular against the fret, due to the fanned fret orientation.

The picture makes it look worse than it is, the frets are in great condition. I'd go as far as saying it's purely cosmetic, but I wanted to mention it just to be completely transparent / avoid any surprises. There are no dings or dips in any of the frets, they are all level.

I bought this second hand in mint condition a few years back - so I'm afraid I don't know the exact specifics of the woods and pick-up models. As I said though the tonal options are vast with this thing!

I would assume both maple neck and fretboard, and swamp ash body. And the neck feels like a nice medium C shape.

Overall the condition is extremely good, I can't find any bad dings or scratches, only a few tiny marks here and there. Please bear in mind the price reflects these minor issues, otherwise I would have listed it for more. Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield areas. Or of course collection would be preferred. I would really rather not use a courier as have had some nightmares with these in the past.
