Dingwall NG3 5 String Bass + Extras. Comes with Dingwall knobs, alternative scratch plate plus the carbon NG style one, Schaller S strap locks and Mono strap plus the very nice padded bag and tool wallet. Never left the house and not played that much. In really good condition however the'Combustion' sign on the headstock has a bit of scratching to it which you can see in the pictures, this is the only thing I can see.

Recently installed new Dingwall USA strings, standard tuning. Gave it a good clean up and I have the original box it came in too, I think! Reason for sale is this just isn't my thing, this is just too modern sounding for me, sounds like it wants to rip your head off, it's so gnarly even if you try to play in a civilised manner! And even when I do go for that sort of music it's not the type associated with this ultra modern sound. Spiritbox are ok but I'm more of a Death/Cynic/90's type.

There's a lot of tonal variation in this, J type, MM type P type, but it just always sounds like a Dingwall, and nothing sounds like a Dingwall other than a Dingwall. But GAS is all consuming, it is ever present, it must be satisfied and so... It's a great bass don't get me wrong it's just not my great bass. If it doesn't go I will probably put it back up in early June when the GAS makes the predicted return for something but I'm not desperate to sell to be fair.

So with that said I'm up for dropping it off within reason for petrol or you heading over or meeting halfway but I'm not posting this uninsured in anyone's wildest dreams because these things cost a bomb! So yeah, definitely some good clear communication and negotiation needed to make this deal happen! I have some black Wilkinson tuning pegs which will fit but they didn't seem up to much so I never put them on but I'll include them too for your entertainment. I'd go after the black Hipshot Lic machine heads if you wanted to carry on the customisation to make it look a bit different to everyone else's.

In terms of the bridge there's little you can do to get the black ones other than beg Dingwall to sell you a set, the Hipshot Mono bridges are available but they're possibly a bit too long which is why the Dingwall has shortened versions of them. You obviously don't have to do any of this nonsense of course and just play the damn thing!
