This bass has seen very limited use since I have owned it, since 2010. I hate to part with it, but I have too many basses now. This guitar features a 22 fret neck (2 octaves), which is what is required for the "lead bass" type playing style. The Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass V is a very hard model to find, since it was manufactured by Fender for just a few years, in very limited numbers. This instrument comes with the original hard-shell case. Whomever ends up with this bass will end up with a very fine, rare and beautiful instrument. Guitar weight = about 9.5 Lbs.
