It an unfortunate sale, but I could really do with the cash at the moment. It's a fantastic bass. Overall condition would probably be a 7/10. There are a few marks, no massive dents but a bit of player wear.
Couple of things to note, there is a bit of a lacquer crack coming from the a string ferrule. This is not a split in the wood, it's a lacquer crack. Then, by the control plate there is a long scratch, struggled to picture it but you can pick it up in the light. Then, there are a couple of little scuffs from a lead on the bottom of the bass. Finally, one little chip by the bridge, and then one little, little dent on the back (I've tried to picture it). I think the previous owner fiddled with the electrics at some point and when I got it the pots were knackered and weirdly they distorted everything. So it has had a full pot replacement with the fender pure vintage ones you can get on their site. Other than that it is all stock. I have the originals that I'll dig out and stick in the case. Truss is fine, neck is lovely to play. It's a rosewood board, but quite a light coloured one. I think it looks ace. Comes with original hard case that is in pretty good condition- no major scuffs or scrapes.I would strongly prefer collection for this item. This is currently based in Bedminster, Bristol. However, if you want to arrange your own courier then I now have a box and can send you the details of that. If you arrange your own courier I will pack it as best I can, but, I cannot be held liable for anything that happens as collection is my preference. Any questions then please feel free to ask.
