Custom Build Telecaster Bass 1968 Tribute - Aged Lake Placid Blue Nitrocellulose This Telecaster Bass with custom made body and brand new Fender OEM'51 P- Bass Maple Neck (original serial number MX19109712) has been custom built using original Fender OEM and high quality aftermarket parts and finished in Aged Lake Placid Blue Nitrocellulose (see pics). The body, sides, neck, back and headstock have been given the relic treatment - with lacquer crazing, dints and dings, patches of wear to the finish, and then polished to a vintage dull gloss shine - the plastics and metal parts have also been given the ageing treatment - the original "Precision Bass" Headstock decal has been replaced with a vintage correct 60's style "Telecaster Bass" Logo (see pics).

Metal parts are all vintage style - Fender OEM "F" Neck Plate and Fender OEM 70´s Style Bass Machine Heads , pickguard is single ply white - all given the ageing treatment (see pics). Not too heavy weighing in at 9.8lbs, a great player and a stunner to look at for sure - and those in the know will spot this rare opportunity to grab something like this..
