Hi and welcome to the sale of my Fender Road Worn Sunburst 50s Precision Bass Made in Mexico. I bought this a few years ago as a back up to my basses on tour and frequently used this as my main bass. Sadly whilst on tour the neck warped and my bass tech managed to get hold of a replacement maple (All Parts) neck together and had the correct Fender logo and installed the tuning heads from my old neck and set it up it served me for the rest of the tour and other gigs as well. Here are at the specs for those who need it!

Fingerboard Maple 7.25 (184mm). Scale Length 34 (864 mm). Nut Width: 1.750 (44.5 mm). Tuning Keys Vintage Style Reverse Tuning Machines.

Bridge American Vintage Precision Bass. For those of you who like a bright. Sound (perfect for slap playing) the combination of. Neck is a dream and is completely different to playing a rosewood maple fretboard. The colour is the traditional 2 tone sunburst and not only a great for slapping but also for playing.

A bit of history about the bass a few years ago Fender brought out these basses as being more affordable and they were assembled in Mexico but had the same hardware and all the components were made in the US factories. They were and are very good basses (check out my other listings). In essence we have a beautiful bass that is great to play and as these were mildly reliced by the Fender factory (not overdone in my opinion). The original was born in the 50s and produced the sound of bass. On the road, the more you punished a Precision, the more it gave back a virtually indestructible bass that took a beating and laughed while it asked for more, becoming even cooler-looking and more comfortable-feeling than when it was brand-new. Fenders new Road Worn 50s Precision Bass guitar delivers that aged look and feeldesigned with 1950s specs, including a nitrocellulose-lacquer finish, and built to look, sound and feel like its got more than just a few miles on it. Please note that each guitars'Road Wear' varies slightly, the wear on the guitar you get may differ to the picture below.
