Fender Precision Bass Lyte Deluxe Very Rare Natural Mahogany 1996/97 Vgc

  
A beautiful Fender Precision Bass Lyte Deluxe finished in extremely rare natural Mahogany. These superb sought after light weight instruments were made by the renowned Fender Fuji-Gen plant in Japan between 1984 and 1997. They had a smaller very light weight body shape and a modern C-shape 34 maple neck with 22 medium-jumbo frets. A 9V battery is required to power the onboard pre amp and one is included but will probably need replacing soon. This particular example was built in 1996/97 and is in excellent condition for a 25 year old instrument.

I doubt if you will find a better one for sale anywhere and it is a very reluctant sale. It only has a few marks on the body itself and a little tarnishing on the gold finish hardware. This is a common trait on these basses and it all adds to its character.

There is the usual play wear on it so dont expect a case queen. It has a natural wood finish which is not lacquered so there are imperfections. Ive had it for a long time but the latest addition to my collection means its time to go. Er indoors operates a one in one out policy.
