Fender Squier Precision Bass, Torino Red, Upgraded. Mods Available

  
Here we have my Fender Squier Affinity Precision Bass Guitar in Torino Ted (colour code 558), made in 1996. Alder body, Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Also upgraded with Fender MIM pickups/tuners/bridge, and 3 ply Black pickguard which looks great. Used but in good condition, a great sounding bass. Made in the famous and well renowned YAKO factory in Taiwan, so excellent quality for the price and amazing playability and tone! Truss rod in full working order, and neck is great. All setup, fretboard oiled, restrung, and ready to go. Optional modifications, choose from either (Pictures available on request). Whitish Grey Pearloid pickguard with black or silver screws. This looks gorgeous, set against the White body! Dark Grey Pearloid pickguard with black or silver screws. This again looks gorgeous, set against the White body! I can also set it up to your liking (high, medium or low action etc). Fender Hi Mass bridge fitted.

Babicz Black FCH Z series 4 string Bridge. Other pickguard colours and modifications (pickups, tuners, bridges etc) available on request so please ask.

If collected, it can be tried out on my Mesa D800+ and Barefaced Big Twin II. Some signs of use, but overall lovely clean condition. Reason for sale is I'm continuing to trim down my considerable herd. I have collected numerous basses all over the years and my career as a bass player and teacher.

The Affinity Precision Bass has an alder body with a maple neck. This classic combination provides a warm and resonant sound with bright overtones and great sustain.

The maple neck gives a bright snap to your tone while the Rosewood fingerboard provides excellent tonal properties, helping your note articulation and giving a smooth playing surface for the left hand. The body is crafted with the Fender Precision outline, providing smooth contours in all the right places so you'll have a comfortable playing-experience whether stood up or sat down. A maple neck gives a smooth left-hand playing feel and the "C"-shaped profile enables easy reach over all 4 strings.

The fingerboard has a modern 9.5'' radius which has a slight curve and provides an even balance across the strings. The Precision Bass body has a double cutaway shape which enables effortless access to the very top frets, so when you're soloing at the "dusty end" of the neck you'll find no barriers to your playing style.

A vintage-style 4-saddle bridge gives optimum transference of string vibrations to the body, giving you a resonant and sustaining sound. The 4 saddles also enable full adjustment over each string's action (height) and intonation (tuning across the fingerboard) so you'll be able to get the perfect setup for in-tune playing and a smooth action. The standard open-gear tuners are accurate and give easy tuning adjustments along with a classic aesthetic. This hardware makes the Affinity P bass ideal for studio use and reliable performances on stage. Maple neck with "C"-shaped profile and 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard.
