We advise finding our website where you can find direct prices and discuss all of the above! Fender Standard Precision Bass Olympic White 1996 Electric Bass. Here for sale we have a Fender Standard Precision Bass Electric Bass in Olympic White finish. Made in Mexico in 1996, this bass consists of a Poplar body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard.

The Maple neck plays very comfortably, with Fender's'C' profile filling the hand reassuringly whilst still allowing for comfortable reach in all registers. The double cutaway body design offers easy access into the upper register. This works well with the smooth finish to the rear of the neck which allows for smooth navigation of the 34 scale. The Medium Jumbo fret wire combined with the 7.25 radius provides a rock solid feel under the fingers and is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The low end is thick and full-bodied, ensuring that your bass playing fills out the mix nicely. The mids are punchy and clear, whilst the sparkly top end captures all the spank and attack of your playing, keeping you in the front of the mix. The simple controls offer comprehensive control of your tone without over-complicating things. Pickups- Standard P-Bass Split Single Coil.

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentations are present to the front face edges of the headstock, the most apparent of these can be seen near the D tuning machines. Mild indentations are present to the tip of the headstock some of which pierce the finish, with this light paint transfer is also present by the indentations which can be seen under close scrutiny. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching which can be seen under direct light. Neck: Overall very good condition.

Light indentations are present across the register to the rear of the neck, these can slightly be felt in the playing position. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has been polished to a gloss texture, this is common with regular past use. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentations are present to the body, the most noticeable of these can be seen to the bass side waist edge where the lacquer finish has cracked but does not expose the wood beneath.

Light to mild scratching is also present to the body with the most apparent being seen to both the treble side horn, bass side lower bout edge and treble side lower bout edges, these have discolored the finish. Discoloration of the finish is present to the rear face, consistent patterns can be seen under scrutiny where the body has been lent against something for a long period of time. The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Truss rod tool (3/16 hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light tarnishing of the finish can be seen to the metal hardware. Light scratching is present to the scratchplate which can be seen under direct light, common with regular past use. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
