The salesman told me that it was previously ownedby the bass player in Shakatak. Whilst I cant prove this, you can find a 1982YouTube video of Shakatak performing Invitations where the bassist is playinga G&L 2000 E Series identical to the one for sale here. You could belooking at the exact same bass!

This bass will give you a massive palette ofsounds, from rock to reggae, pop, soul, funk and more due to its dualhumbucking pickups, bass, treble and volume controls, 3-way pick-up selector, series/parallel switch and 3-way active/passive switch. Whilst the guitar isactive you can play it passive if the battery goes down. Itcomes with a lined hard case and I will include a brand new set of strings andthe strap as a bonus. As you can see from the photos this bass is in very goodcondition. There is a tiny amount of finish missing on the body just by the endof the fretboard- see the photo.
