For sale, beautiful Ibanez BTB1905E Premium 5 String bass in Brown Topaz Burst Low Gloss finish. The BTB1905E features neck through body construction with a figure maple top and back on ash wings attached to a graphite reinforced 9-piece wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and offset abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Aguilar DCB passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, Mono-rail bridges with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

For 2018 the ash body wings were replaced with mahogany, the neck was changed to a 9-piece wenge, purpleheart and maple construction and the rosewood fretboard was replaced with panga panga. I bought this guitar brand new in 2018 from GAK in Brighton. It has had only light, home use and has never left the house. It has been kept in a smoke and pet free environment.

The sale includes the original Ibanez Gig bag/case (it's kind of a cross as it's much more solid than a regular gig bag, but not flight case hard). It also includes the extremely useful Ibanez multi tool, which has the appropriate hexagonal keys and a variety of other useful tools. Plays beautifully and has huge tones, especially with the preamp. 9v battery is included in the sale. The guitar has one noticeable ding on the lower body, below the controls, where it caught the guitar stand. There is a close up of this knock in the photos. Apart from that it is in great condition.
