The Ibanez SR506 is a mid-range 6-string wonder, perfect for a variety of play styles and settings, that performs at a level which completely belies it's affordable asking price. This ultra-fast, slim neck is constructed through the coupling of exotic woods renowned for being lightweight yet strong. This has allowed Ibanez to construct a light, slim neck that's fully capable of withstanding the tension of 6 taut bass guitar strings whilst remaining ultra-comfortable to play.

A relatively new feature to SR basses, the extended neck joint not only helps create a unique look, but also makes the higher frets much more accessible. These awesome split-coil pickups provide an extensive frequency range and an accutely enhanced tonal definition, offering the maximum amount of accuracy. Both pickups have an equal amount of response, like traditional single coils, but without the hum and noise.

Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-Band EQ w/ Mid Frequency Switch. The tonal variations on offer through this excellent in-built EQ system help make this bass stand head and shoulders above all competitors. The highly accurate frequency adjustments help enhance simple chord work, as well as complex soloing.
