Hello, and thanks for looking. I built this bass up, just before all the lockdowns started, and haven't really played much since, and have just too many basses, so thinning down the collection a lot. It started with a vintage Fender-licenced Mighty Mite neck, and built up from there.

All hardware is nickel finish, unless otherwise stated. Virtually all the hardware came from Northwest Guitars, with the electrical components from my box of stock. Neck: Mighty Mite (Fender Licenced) P-bass neck, rosewood fingerboard, 20 frets in very good condition.

There is some light sunlight-related fading on the top edge, seen in the pictures. Fender transfer applied - obviously an afterthought! Idth at nut is 40.4mm.

Width at Heel is 63.4mm. Body: Solid Ash, lacquered, - bought new for the project. Bridge: Wilkinson P-bass bridge, with brass saddles. Tuners: (from the same factory as Wilkinson, but NOT engraved "Wilkinson") 20:1 bass tuners (very smooth), bought new.

Strings: 45,65,85,105 Rotosound "Roto Bass" (pink packaging) nickel-plated. Pickguard: Single-ply black, bought new. Pots: 250k Bourns solid-shaft pots for volume and tone. Bourns are IMO, just as good as if not better than CTS. Tone capacitor: Vishay 0.033uF.

Control Knobs: Flat topped grub-screw fitting Fender style, bought new. Neck plate & screws: Engraved "Fender", bought new. Strap buttons: Chrome Schaller-style strap lock buttons.

Not shown in the pictures, but I'll include a generic pair of strap locks too. All other screws: I use quality stainless.

Steel screws for everything else, which are generally a lot tougher than those supplied with the hardware. (Being a bit OCD, I'll include the original screws too). Hard case: (optional - see below) Standard "Gear4music" hard case, bought new - a few very minor scuffs, from doing its job! The hard case is optional - but ONLY if you collect the bass from me in person. The action is exceptionally good. Approx 3.3mm between the 12th fret and the bottom of the E string.

Neck relief is set about a quarter turn of the truss rod off flat. (I'm a Rickenbacker player mostly, so this is closer to replicating my Rics which are supposed to have dead flat necks) Frets are excellent, with no obvious flat spots, and masses of life in them. Please refer to the photos for the condition of the bass, as they are 99% of the description - but IMO - the bass is excellent. This has been all done to be a closer match to my Rickenbacker sounds, and works exceedingly well. There previous holes in the headsock for other tuners than have been filled, before re-drilling for the new tuners (also hidden by the new tuners).

Also - there are additional bridge holes under the current bridge, where I tried a different bridge, but the holes are hard to see, and only just visible under the back curve of the current bridge. If I hadn't mentioned it - you wouldn't know! Same under the pickguard - a few pickguard holes drilled and re-filled. Here's some spec for the neck (for current Mighty Mite necks), gleaned from the neck - don't know if it's all.

Finish- Satin, Thin Polyurethane Oil Based. Neck Profile Shape- J-Bass 4-String C shape. Fret Size- Medium/Jumbo - 2.7mm - Nickel. Truss Rod- Single-adjust at headstock - 4mm wrench not included.

Alas - in the case, it's classed as "oversize". This item is in the category "Musical Instruments & DJ Equipment\Guitars & Basses\Bass Guitars".
