Squire by Fender sonic Bronco bass in California Blue. Bought new then upgraded and modified. The pickups are: 1x single coil Toltec 9k ohm + 1 Artec alnico hot rail humbucker 11.5 k ohm. The humbucker is okay if you prefer that sound but the single coil scatter wound Toltec has far more volume and thump. You can switch easily between pickups with the mini switch fitted on the scratch plate but they cannot be mixed.

The through body strings are Stainless LaBella flats listed as for a Fender Mustang bass. The bridge has been upgraded with a much improved nickel plated one with the option of thro body or conventional bridge stringing.

The electrics have been upgraded with a solderless set with a military grade oil soaked cap. The scratchplate was custom made to suit and it wasn't cheap. The neckplate was replaced with a new Fender branded one. The original logo was removed and replaced by a custom transfer naming my old band. It's not laquered over so is easy to remove if required. I have left the original identity of the bass on the back of the neck as in pics. Please note there are a number of small chips on the back around the thro-body bushes caused during the drilling process. While recovering from major surgery. It plays and sounds well but It's been hung on my wall for months as I no longer play. Which is a waste of a decent bass. This is a Mainland UK sale only. Any questions please ask and I can provide more pics if you tell me what you want.
