An opportunity to acquire this wonderful instrument thats not only a real joy to play, but also has the look and feel of a solid, well-made bass guitar. This is the legendary Westone Thunder 1A fretless electric bass guitar made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan in 1984. This is Version 2 of three types of Thunder 1A basses and this version was made between 1983 and 1985 with a maple body and neck. The knobs are in brass and the active tone knob has B-O-T on the top - (bass/off/treble).

There are also two micro switches, one which is the active on/off and the other is a dual tone switch. The bridge/tailpiece is also in brass and is fully adjustable. The neck is bolted on and the neckplate is stamped''a Matsumoku product made in Japan''; and the headstock has the two on a side Westone tuners,''Westone'' logo and truss rod cover stamped with the words''Thunder 1A bass''. A Double Bass player, and it is in good condition with very few marks. All of which are very minor.

The strings are all in good condition. It is a very solid feelinginstrument and a real joy to play.
