Here for sale we have a Rees F Light Fretless bass in Gloss Natural finish. Made in the UK by the now defunct boutique Luthier Rees, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Ash body, Maple neck and Richlite fingerboard.

This guitar is fitted with Chrome hardware including top-loading 4-saddle bridge and open-geared tuning machines. The Maple neck plays well, with what could be described as a'D' profile feeling great in the hand.

A slightly flattened section to the centre offers comfortable thumb positioning, whilst the 10 fingerboard radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing experience in any register. The body feels very lightweight, originally designed to allow musicians to travel more easily on planes.

Despite the low weight, the large upper horn keeps the guitar well balanced on the shoulders. Amplified, this bass offers fantastic fundamental bass tone right away. The simple controls offer a surprising range of tonal options, and with no frets, upright tones are easily achievable. Model - F-Light Fretless Bass.

Nut Width - 1.65. Pickups - P-Bass Style Split Coil.

Controls - Master Volume, Master Tone. Headstock: Overall excellent condition, all aspects of the headstock display minimal markings. Neck: Overall very good condition, the fingerboard presents mild discoloration and indentations beneath the strings, this is common with strings touching the fingerboard from past use.

All aspects of the neck and fingerboard demonstrate minimal signs of use. Body: Overall very good condition, the rear face lower bout of the body displays light indentations which can be seen under close scrutiny. All other aspects of the body demonstrate light signs of past use. Flathead driver tool not included.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.25mm. Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.

Strings on Guitar -Tape wound. Overall excellent condition and fully functional. All aspects of the case display light signs of past use.
