SQUIER VINTAGE MODIFIED JAZZ BASS V 2013 - OLYMPIC WHITE - 5 String - GIGBAG. Jazz Bass is one of the biggest and most important icons of modern music. It`s been used on so many essential recordings and concerts, that it became an integral part of the modern culture and a household name. Along with the likes of Precision Bass, Stratocaster, Telecaster and other Fender legends. It was introduced back in the early 1960s as Precision`s complementary model with more punch and treble for feistier and more aggressive players. Over the course of five decades of existence, Jazz Bass has been produced in countless variants and for the summer of 2013, the new Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V is being introduced. This gorgeous five-stringer rocks a soft maple body in combination with a hard maple neck. This combo gives a well defined mid range and singing highs. Low end is strong enough to brave the heaviest of storms in both the studio and on the stage. Vintage bridge has five adjustable saddles and it`s plated in chrome. Two Fender-designed single-coils drive this tone machine.

Maple neck sports the series standard contour in the back and a 20-fret fingerboard made of maple on the top. Rectangle inlays, black pickguard, vintage tuners and tone are deeply rooted in Jazz Bass tradition, paying a subtle tribute to the 1970s models.
