Upright Electric Bass Guitar

  
For sale today is this unique, one of a kind upright (or suspended) 4 string bass guitar. I was inspired to build this' Bat Bass' after watching a cricket match on TV last year. The sellers notes indicated that he had used this bat for the odd game, hence it's used appearance. The bass has 20 frets plus a 0 fret at the nut and is made from a combination of high quality new, custom made and vintage parts that fit well together for a wonderful playing experience. He design of this bass allows it to be played with a shoulder strap attached via Sheller locking strap buttons or as a traditional upright instrument. As you can see from the photographs (that form a major part of the overall description), this bass is detailed with the original bat logos and England Cricket features adding to the fun factor of this guitar. The tuning, intonation and playability of this instrument is very good and can easily be adjusted to your own playing requirements. Unfortunately I do not have a case/bag for this bass however a junior size ski bag would do the job quite well.

The approximate length of the bass is 66 inches / 168 cm with the end - pin extended. FYI, I have been building and repairing guitars and basses for around 50 years and have put a lot of thought and time into creating this unique instrument and will not be making another.
