Vintage Aria pro ii Cardinal series rare Black & gold Bass (restoration project)

  

1982 Aria pro ii Cardinal Csb300 Black & gold Bass. Made by Matsumoku in Japan in 1982. I've owned this bass since about 1995 and it's been my workhorse. Played gigs with it in the late 90s, tried to customise it, and it was sat in my parents loft for about 10 years. I finally took it out a few years ago, and spent a bit of time superficially sorting it out, and making it look and sound like a new alien style, but it could do with some tlc and it could be back to a great quality condition.

All original hardware (the original black volume and tone knobs will be provided too). What have I done to date? Gave it a rub down to remove some grafitti. Removed all hardware to polish. Restrung (with super expensive green strings).

Put cool alien stickers on the frets. Replaced the knobs with cool green ones. Checked the electrics and played it (sounds great). Probably needs a proper respray.

There's quite a few scratches and dings. I'd probably look to rewire it. It works OK but the soldering is old and a tad dry. The green highlights are my customisation, of course it wouldn't take much to take that off (I'll provide the original knobs).
