Yamaha TRB 1004 Natural 4-String Bass Guitar

Yamaha TRB 1004 Natural 4-String Bass Guitar. The setup is incredible and this bass sounds clean and completely fantastic.

Basically its the John Patitucci model but with 4 strings. Very cool 35 scale legnth for a better sounding low-E string (like a 5 or 6 string bass). Pickups and preamp are very clear and the output is huge. Bone nut, straight neck with very low action. Previous owner was hard on it, please see photos for closeups of some small damage: There is a small piece of wood missing near the rear control cavity and some finish missing on the top side of the body where the forearm rests on the bass. Some other small marks on the rear side of the instrument. One might be tempted to have the finish retouched on the top side for the feel on your forearm, but that is a very minor repair and definitely not essential. Other damage is on the rear side of the bass and completely unnoticeable while playing.

This bass is a head turner to be sure with a stunning quilt maple top. Hardware is all still working but some light marks on the bridge and tuners.
